Midtown East isn’t trying to compete with the Lower East Side or Brooklyn to be the coolest kid on the block. Michelin-starred eateries like Daniel and The Modern are plentiful.

With an array of of stately prewar towers and sleek full-service high-rises, there are lots of options in Midtown East, particularly at the higher end of the market.
